WebMay 16, 2024 · I agree an AWD vs an RWD in the winter is far better IMO. Depending on how much snow you get, you'll be plowing some of it with a RWD car. An AWD sits a little higher, giving you more clearance, which helps if you encounter a random higher snow drift. Plus it will definitely give you better handling and traction when it really matters.
