The mesh gateway uses SNI headers to forward requests to the requested backend service, but TLS handshakes are still handled by the calling lambda. WebIt is a Kubernetes-native service mesh that uses the popular Envoy proxy as a sidecar container to provide easily configured, uniformly managed, and secure traffic management and observability for dynamic distributed and microservices environments.
