Rex is an ambush hunter that generally gets one shot before you have to sit and rest, unless we're talking about slower critters. Giga and just walk down most things and bleed them out. You can bleed a trike out in 3 bites and easily 1 v 2 them plus when food is scarce and u have to wander the map to find the hot spots giga is easier to keep from starving to death. However, Rexes actually tend to have much more health (due to the Giga health nerf), making groups of them better for a longer, slower fight. A good saddle can help with this, but those are rare, and often very expensive.

Yes, bonebreak in its current state is broken and overpowered. 70% chance on literally anything in the game.
Witrynathe giga seems to be for hit and run bleed damage (like a big dilo) but if a rex gets you you can't run and then the fight is over, so it's a really poor matchup, your best bet is to sprint away, it can't catch you unless it ambushes from close by, then when it's out of stamina make your escape.
